Terms and Conditions

These Terms apply to orders placed in the geparts.hu web shop. By placing an order the Customer accepts these Terms.

2. Products and prices

The shop sells new and used, genuine (OEM) and aftermarket car parts. Prices are shown in euros (EUR). The Seller operates under the Hungarian small-business VAT exemption, so prices do not include VAT and no VAT is charged. Prices exclude shipping; the shipping fee is shown in the cart and at checkout based on the destination country. For multiple items a combined shipping fee applies, shown before payment. In case of an obvious pricing error the Seller may cancel the order and will refund any payment in full without delay.

3. Ordering and conclusion of the contract

  1. Add the product to the cart with "Add to cart".
  2. Review items, quantities and the destination country on the cart page.
  3. Click "Order and pay" to proceed to Stripe's secure checkout, enter your shipping and billing details and pay by card. Clicking the button constitutes an order with an obligation to pay.
  4. After successful payment you receive an order confirmation email; the contract is concluded at that point. The invoice is sent separately by email (issued via Billingo).

4. Business purchases and invoicing

At checkout you may purchase as a business by providing your company name and (EU) VAT number; the invoice will be issued with these details. Invoices are issued electronically and sent by email.

5. Payment

Payment is processed by Stripe Payments Europe Ltd. (1 Grand Canal Street Lower, Dublin, Ireland) on its secure checkout page, by card or other methods offered there. The Seller never receives or stores card data.

6. Shipping and delivery times

We ship by courier (DPD, GLS, FedEx) to Hungary, EU member states and the additional European countries listed at checkout. In-stock items are dispatched within 1 business day. Items marked "to order" are sourced from an external warehouse with the lead time shown on the product page (typically 3–4 weeks) and dispatched immediately upon arrival. You will receive a tracking number by email. For non-EU destinations any customs duties, taxes and clearance fees are borne by the Customer.

7. Right of withdrawal

Consumers may withdraw from the purchase without giving any reason within 14 days of receiving the product (Government Decree 45/2014 (II. 26.), implementing Directive 2011/83/EU). To exercise this right, send an unequivocal statement to [email protected] and return the product without undue delay, at the latest within 14 days of your statement, to: Hímesháza utca 4, 1182 Budapest, Hungary.

We refund all payments received, including the original delivery cost, within 14 days of learning of your withdrawal, using the original payment method. We may withhold the refund until we have received the product back or you have supplied proof of return. The direct cost of returning the product is borne by the Customer. You are only liable for any diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature and functioning of the product.

8. Warranty

In case of defective performance you are entitled to the statutory warranty rights under the Hungarian Civil Code (repair, replacement, price reduction, withdrawal). For new durable consumer goods the mandatory Hungarian guarantee under Decree 151/2003 (IX. 22.) applies where the product falls within its scope. For used products the warranty period is 1 year. Claims can be made with the invoice.

9. Complaints and dispute resolution

Consumers may turn to the conciliation board competent for their place of residence; for the Seller's seat this is the Budapest Conciliation Board (Krisztina krt. 99, 1016 Budapest; [email protected]). You may also use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

10. Miscellaneous

Hungarian law governs matters not regulated here. The Seller may amend these Terms; amendments take effect upon publication and do not affect orders already placed. The processing of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.
